Ran Slavin’s Paradise Now (Vol 2) is a site-specific multi-media video installation in the MUZA Eretz Israel Museum’s glassblower workshop. The work consists of screenings and sound, set inside a dark space and is part of Slavin’s series Paradise Now, which combines digitally generated landscapes, 3D animation, texts, AI rendering, sound and print. According to Slavin, the series “represents an attraction toward boundless intangible realms and shifting amorphic environments and reflects an ethereal sensation found in alternate realities.”
The work is accompanied by the soundtrack Time Regained, from Slavin’s recently released album Oolong: Ambient Works.
